During my 25 years as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, I helped many individuals and families manage or overcome the challenges and obstacles that come with addiction.
I have been researching and studying how I can use my many years of experience to continue to help others. I have been actively seeking God’s will for how I can use my passion in this area to be of service to people who are struggling with issues related to addiction; whether financial, legal, or treatment options. God’s answer to me was to help the people who I know, from personal experience, have suffered tremendous pain associated with the terrible disease of addiction; brokenhearted Moms of Addicted Adult Children.
My own adult son has been addicted to drugs and alcohol for many years. He has been in jail and in prison due to his addictions. I have spent countless days and nights worrying about him and wondering if he is okay. I have frequently found myself down on my knees praying to God for my son and for myself.
