Finding Hope
Amidst The Challenges
You were able to get a full nights sleep without the fear of getting that unsettling phone call or knock at the door?
You no longer feel guilty for actually spending some time doing the things YOU love to do?
You were able to regain your power to live each and every day with more joy and peace?
You are no longer have a dark, looming cloud hanging over your head. Instead, you have more peace of mind?
You are able to communicate to your child with less frustration and anger?
I'm a mom of an addicted adult son, and our journey has been incredibly tough. As his life spiraled out of control, I found myself on a parallel path of turmoil and despair. It's been a deeply painful and challenging experience, but amid the darkness, I've been determined to find hope.
This road has been isolating at times, but I've come to realize that I'm not alone.
Sound familiar?
The journey of making a 180° shift begins when you realize you need to work on yourself whether your adult child is okay or not. This has given me a passion for helping other desperate Moms, just like YOU regain a sense of self amid the challenges that come with your adult children’s poor life choices.
I am not a certified therapist, although I was an addiction counselor for more than 25 years—I’m a Mom, just like you, who has been there. A decade of addiction, depression and anxiety aka. "living in the pit". If you find yourself deep in a pit, or maybe just teetering on the edge of one, I urge you to seek help—for yourself and your family.
If you're going through something similar or have any questions, please know that I'm here to simply offer a listening ear or share advice as we navigate this journey towards finding hope together.
"Linda Sue is not only knowledgeable, resourceful and understanding, she is also genuinely caring. During my time with her, she listened attentively and helped me work through my situations. We broke them down into manageable pieces. She offered me guidance on how to free myself from the guilt and shame of being a mom of an addicted adult child."
"Working with Linda Sue has been life changing. I've been dealing with an extremely difficult situation with my adult son and found Linda Sue's one-on-one coaching sessions just what I needed to hear and at the right time. She has given me specific strategies for setting boundaries and for protecting my emotional health.
It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am for her advice and guidance. It has changed my perspective and helped me handle things with my son in a much healthier and more productive way."
"I loved the format of Linda Sue's Groups and the material. I was able to open up and talk to her and the other mothers. These group sessions were invaluable and gave me so much hope! It helped put things in perspective. The group setting gave all of us a chance to share and receive input.
It also helped me realize that focusing on my own needs is okay too."
